STAR CRAFT
This was a group project with the goal to create beer labels and packaging surrounding the theme "Under the influence". Each member of the team had to create two designs within a chosen theme which we choose to do the zodiac signs. Through the project, I ended up creating the cans for Virgo and Aries.
Throughout the project, we wanted to create something that was both bright and cohesive in nature but also unique to all the artists involved. in doing this the elements of the main template that I worked on that would be shown throughout each of the cans were the astronaut and the planet/moon/asteroid that he is standing on.
when working on the labels for Virgo and Aries I chose the colours according to the birthstone and the birth flower that accompanied each zodiac sign.
As a team we decided that we wanted to have a box that would surround the cans for ease of transportation, that would also encompass our overarching theme cohesively with the cans. To tie in with the space theme we decided to include a window that would give a glimpse of what customers would be getting. Through creating the packaging I decided to include a flavour profile for each beer at the top which would sit directly above each of the cans.
